This wildflower seed mixture contains cornfield annual species to provide quick establishment and first-year colour.

The perennial species provide colour and persistency in future years.

  • Conservation meadow mixture for native wildflowers, set-aside and stewardship schemes
  • Cut twice a year: Down to 50 mm in March to remove excess grass, down to 50 mm in September (after flowering)

In both cases, remove the clippings. Maintenance of stewardship mixtures must be carried out as laid down in scheme regulations.

Sowing rate 5 g/m2
Sowing time March to October
Sowing depth 10 mm
Sowing instructions Create a fine friable seedbed down to 150 mm in depth. Carry out two equal sowings at right angles to each other and diagonally to main axis. Broadcast manually or use seed drill, rake level and roll. Ensure good seed to soil contact.
